1st october, at 10am, I'm here

Imagine anything. Write our own reality. Become who we deserve to be. Be. Unleash that intuitive and creative potential that slumbers in each one of us.

"She is the Life/Death/Life force, she is the incubator. She is intuition, she is farseer, she is deep listener, she is loyal heart. She encourages humans to remain multilingual; fluent in the languages of dreams, passion, and poetry. She whispers from night dreams, she leaves behind on the terrain of a woman’s soul a coarse hair and muddy footprints. These fill women with longing to find her, free her, and love her.
She is ideas, feelings, urges, and memory."

When she defined the wild woman in her 1992 book Women Who Run with the Wolves, American author Clarissa Pinkola Estés does not describe a woman, but she defines the very spark that lives within. More than an inspiring quote, these words are a manifesto; a call that resonates deeply in us, like an ancestral melody and a contemporary beat.

That's what I wanted to embody in STATEMENT: beyond jewellery, it is a woman's project, inspired by women. An aesthetic and symbols, but above all, the precious incarnation of a road well traveled and a path yet to be divined.

That's why I wanted to express by creating Alyh, a universal heroine, one that all would recognize in themselves, in the women around them.

And because each one of us is inspirational and inspiring, STATEMENT will open its doors, physical and digital, to these real or mythical women who move us. So that they may power these ties that bind us all together and create that spark that animates the Wild Woman.

On October 1, meet Alyh on Nowness (www.nowness.com) and ID (/i-d.vice.com) at time 10am (UK).
