Having become a mother a few months ago, she sees STATEMENT jewelry pieces as an extension of herself, a way to embrace her personality.

How did you find out about the brand?

I discovered STATEMENT through a friend, who was wearing several pieces. So I went to the showroom to discover the collections. This was in 2018, at the very beginning of the brand's launch.

What STATEMENT jewelry creations are you wearing?

Every day, I wear the Pinky Rockaway rings in silver paved with diamonds and the My Way rings in silver. My partner gave me the first one, which I've worn on my little finger since the day our child was born. Then, I bought myself the My Way, which I never take off from my index finger. I wanted to symbolically give myself this gift, like a piece of jewelry marking the transition from woman to mother.

Why did you choose money?

There was a coherence between my personality and the strength of the brand. I found myself very much in the "raw" side reflected in the design of the creations and their silver material.

How do you feel when you wear this jewelry?

I feel completely different since I started wearing STATEMENT jewelry, I assert myself more. I don't know any other jewelry brand that gives this effect, with such strength of character. Before, I only wore accumulations of small pieces that I regularly interchanged, depending on my mood. I was constantly looking for what would suit me. When I came across STATEMENT jewelry, I said to myself "So this is what taking possession of yourself is, this is what it means to be yourself!" On the other hand, I always found that diamonds were something very serious, very traditional, linked to marriage and transmission. When I discovered STATEMENT, I suddenly wanted to wear them. Through these creations, I find that this stone gives off something different, quite joyful and easy to wear on a daily basis. It still took me a while before I dared. I needed to find a reason to justify wearing a STATEMENT piece. I knew that afterward, she would become a part of me. Becoming a mother encouraged me to take the plunge.

What is your favorite piece? Why?

My favorite piece is the silver My Way ring. It is very symbolic for me, reminding me of an important moment in my life. Moreover, it stands on its own, meaning I can wear it alone or combine it with other pieces, as I wish, regardless of the context. I also hold my Pinky RockAway dear. When I adopted the brand, I had as a reference the association "index finger ring and little finger ring", like the STATEMENT signature. So I wanted to start with these pieces, before daring to define my own combination. These jewels are now completely part of me, of my identity. Now that I have found a jewelry store that suits me, I have changed my perspective: I think that when you choose jewelry, it becomes that of a lifetime and is part of time.
